Sheriff Deputies’ union opposes proposal to divide pay scales

The union representing the state’s nearly 300 Sheriff’s deputies opposes a plan to reclassify and give a pay bump to 60% of its personnel, calling it divisive and cautioning it will make recruitment and retention worse.
